Join us for a fun game of "musical books" to swap novels you've read for something new to you!

Join us for another fun book swap!
If this is your first time, be prepared for fun!
Doors for the event open at 4 and all books are laid out on tables. There is a 15 minute period for browsing the books and deciding what you want to try and win. Once the 15 minutes are up, the music starts and you'll walk around the table in a circle. When the music stops, slap your hand on a book to claim it! It's like musical chairs for books! You may play as many rounds as books you brought.

Rules about the books:
1. Most importantly, books must be in like-new condition. If it's torn or dirty, it's not welcome.
2. Novels are preferred. This means we're really looking for fiction books of any genre from mystery to romance to fantasy - though if you have a good biography or true crime or anything of that nature those are welcome. This is an adult event so no children's books please. 
3. The organizer (Sarah Stevens) reserves the right to veto books. It's just not fair to bring a battered "chicken soup for the soul" and walk out with the latest John Grisham hardcover. Please no cook books, "How to", etc.

Please note that while this event takes place in a library meeting room, the library itself will be closed and no standard staff or services will be available.
